About

HASHA is a brand inspired by Budo and the culture of traditional Japanese martial arts. We curate made-in-Japan karate-gi from select brands founded by practitioners who actively train and specialize in traditional uniform construction. We also design apparel and training tools, including makiwara.

Led by founder Kenichi Shiba, HASHA draws from over 25 years of global product design experience across Nike, Jordan Brand, Converse, and Uniqlo, alongside formal training in JKA Karate. The brand operates at the intersection of design, training, and craftsmanship, working closely with practitioners and makers who understand performance in real conditions.

HASHAは、武道および日本の伝統的な武術文化に着想を得たブランドです。日本製の空手着を厳選し、空手の鍛錬を積む実践者によって設立されたブランドと協働しながら、伝統的な製法に基づいた道着を展開しています。また、マキワラをはじめとするトレーニング用具やアパレルの企画・開発も行っています。

創業者・柴健一が率いるHASHAは、ナイキ、ジョーダン・ブランド、コンバース、ユニクロにおける25年以上のグローバルなプロダクトデザイン経験と、JKA空手での正式な修練を背景としています。本ブランドは、デザイン、鍛錬、そしてクラフトマンシップが交差する領域に位置し、実際の使用環境におけるパフォーマンスを理解する実践者や職人と密に連携しています。
